The food and wine

Sharp knives
Mandy, my lovely wife, is in charge of all the cooking here.

It’s simple, delicious and Italian, using fresh ingredients from the local market in Chiusi, much of which is organically grown; pumpkin risotto, pasta al forno, slow roasted fennel with red onions, salads with wild rocket, prosciutto and fresh figs…

We enjoy good local wine, from the famous vineyards of Montepulciano, just three quarters of an hour from the house. It is made by Sergio Ercolani and is a young Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. We would be happy to arrange a tasting at his Cantina near the beautiful, walled medieval town.

Food is prepared with care in our kitchen upstairs and enjoyed together as a group in the studio.

The course fee includes all breakfasts, lunches (excluding trip days) and dinners.

Some lunches may be served outside on one of the terraces or taken on location.

We also provide a celebratory dinner at a great local Tuscan trattoria towards the end of each week.
